Acentronura
Acentronura er grein á ætt pípufiska. Greinin telur 2 tegundir sem eiga náttúruleg heimkinni í Indlandshafi og Kirrahavi.
The name is derived from the Greek ακεντρονουρα, or a-kentron-oura, and refers to the lack of a sting on the tail.

There are currently two recognized species in this genus, several previous members having been moved to the genera Amphelikturus and Idiotropiscis:
- Acentronura breviperula Fraser-Brunner & Whitley, 1949 (dwarf pipehorse)
- Acentronura gracilissima (Temminck & Schlegel, 1850) (Bastard seahorse)
